As most of you know, Hebrew and Arabic are languages that are writtein from the left to the right, rather then from the right to the left. Windows, Mac, and some distribution of X-Windows on Linux have support for type-direction swapping internaly ("BiDi" for Bi-Directional).
As it stands, I can type in Hebrew in SL, but the text comes completly flipped. Please concider implementing BiDirectional language input into the UI.

Or, they could just invert the glyphs and you could turn your monitor upside down Actually, having done some internationalization work, bi-directional type is do-able but way hard. I wouldn't expect it for 1.6.0. But I don't speak for LL (and aren't they glad ).

I could input Hebrew characters, but couldn't read Arabic characters when someone else entered some, so there's more work to be done. (Probably a font selection issue.)

It should be hard to implement... Just put the insertion point to the LEFT of each character as it is added to the text input box instead to the right.
