It's getting worse and worse

I'm starting to get really fed up with the lag/database problems that seem to occur on a daily basis. First the stupid system won't teleport me back home (CTRL-SHIFT-H) claiming there's some problem. Yet if I just logoff, and tell the login to put me at home, that works fine! Why should teleporting home be any more difficult that just a relog?

Sub folders containing clothing items (prims, and clothes) I have to right-click TWICE for it to show the menu item "Add to Outfit."

Simulator performance in Digeut has go into the crapper since someone opened a money camper casino, and now the whole sim is dragged down. Half the time I can't teleport there because it's too full of avis.

Avatar textures are STILL screwing up since last summer. There's been really no fix for this problem other than a "rebake" command which most noobs aren't aware of, and can't GET to anyway unless they are in Debug mode.

Speaking of textures. If you're using a dual monitor set up, and you have the SL viewer on your 2nd monitor often your avi's texture (clothes/skin) go completely black (usually at login). Rebaking will not fix, unless you move the viewer into your primary monitor, and rebake.

Sexgen beds just don't animate the avatars using the bed. Sometimes you'll see it working fine, your partner won't or vice versa. Changing into a different animation or pose doesn't help.

Viewing users profiles often comes up blank, or the "my notes" I put into someone's profile won't load.. and I lose all that information. GRRR!

Loging in shows only my prim attachments, not my avi. So all I see is floating hair and parts of my outfit.

@Hugs That black avie does not only showup in the dual screan config, its happening in single screens as well. We are reaching 27,000 online these days. Its nowonder all this occuring. Its going t be a hell of a ride in the next few weeks. Hang on Huggies Hug your partner tight and HANG ON

I have just tried to get around this lunchtime and it was completely impossible - even in a sim that had no people in it.
I am a relative noob (1 month) and I was thinking of upgrading to premium membership - but have finally decided against it - despite having made some friends in SL and creating some interesting stuff - I feel the system is just not working properly... to warrent me spending my money on it...
I have uninstalled the programme completely and may come back when its Version 100.1.2 or whatever, till then adios!

This is really getting crappy! Again the sim I was in crashed! i had this happen in 3 locations today! Do you know what comes out of behind of bull????????? Well it sure alot better then that of how this shitty game is pushing out its server ports! .....JUST BLIMPING PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually that IS the URL I have in my bookmarks, but it gets redirected from their load balancing, and I get the message they are down. However, if I add www. on the URL it seems to work proper.. but the resulting URL on my address bar takes out the www. Odd.
Well that seems to have fixed it too. And this isn't some old cached page, since I've reinstalled XP twice since the beginning of January.

BTW, for some reason I'm getting an invalid certificate from the gird status page. Anyone else getting that?

Okay, So along the same line here.. why doesn't the MOTD change much? Shouldn't it be called the MOTW? Message of the WEEK, rather than DAY, since that's about how often that message changes.

Well for me it happens to me only on my secondary screen for me. The "black" avis are baked and uploaded to the servers, so it's a glitch on the client side. Considering that it's YOUR client viewer that renders your clothes and skin, it must be some glitch with the region of video card memory that SL isn't used to doing.

If my client renders me incorrectly, it will upload that rendering to the servers that everyone else downloads and sees. This isn't like the "missing image" problem where there is no texture to download from the servers, or the "grey avi" where the baked image isn't made yet (pending) by the client.

Can anyone tell me why Transaction history is completely broken? I can't get any information any time after the 27th. I'm referring to the web L$ transactions that show everything, not account history in game.

Same here. Odd.

Sometimes I manage to teleport myself into a sim thats so laggy that I cannot move. When that happens, almost always teleporting away does not work, then it crashes. The best remedy so far for me is to log off from SL and from Windows and logging back into Windows and SL. I think it frees some computer memory too.

About lag: I think its just embarassing how difficult it is to use for example a horse. When I ride a horse, then it's legs are of course prim animated. But prim animation is just not really fast, and its only two positions. So even if the horse looks good, the galloping does not. I hope some improvement for this too.

(And I cannot use my cape with the horse, because capes do not fold nicely over the horse's back but goes through.)

Can`t be user side because there are those that are having such problems. Baking the textures at times does not help. I just installed a new GC and I having this problem when population reached over 22,000. Who knows..........

Greaying avies are happening less offen for me, then again I using the first look.

I've been having this baking problem for months now.
Live Help told me to update my graphics driver--which I did and it didn't help.
Then another time they got a bunch of Help->About which said that my OpenGL was out of date and to update that. The pointed me at the SL downloads page, which showed a complete lack of OGL downloads.

So...I'm still stuck.

now maybe another problem because of lag,... i rezzed stuff on the ground but they wont rezz... great, not on the ground, not in my inventory ?!!
Will i ever get those things back?

Admittedly I am new to SL, but have picked things up quickly and get the jist of everything. When I first logged on, there was lag and packet loss, but it was playable when I tweaked my settings and stuff. Lately, it has just been unbearable... I'm having the constant freeze problem in the latest update, and if you add that to the hideous lag/rendering times, I spend more time losing my temper than enjoying the game. I've just bought a premium account too, and am now wondering why I bothered. I'm trying to explore the vast world, maybe get into a role playing sim (I'm already bored of the whole camp/make money/buy clothes and want something more fulfilling out of SL), but all the issues are making it hard to do. I don't know whether to hold on and see if it improves or just cash in my L$12,000 and call it a day.

Mind you Theo, that in the old days we had alot of problem.
But these days we are so so broken with many parts LLabs can`t figure out which to fix first. Those free account that later turn in to paying account don`t stay paying account for long............LLabs feels those freebie accounts are more important then paying accounts.
