This is a known thing - you can create prims at that altitude, and even rotate them - but if you translate them in even the slightest degree, they get clamped to an altitude of 768m.

If you can figure out a way to rez objects exactly where you want them without having to translate them into position, you can build at practically any altitude. But you won't be able to rez furniture and place it, get off a vehicle after flying it and not lose it, et cetera.

Has been that way since I remember.

I used my belt to rez a 20x20 platform at 4000m back when I was stuck to using sandboxes. Made for good privacy.

Rezzing is easy , moving furnitures, ect where you want them is kinda easy to, just a silly trick to force SL to do it :~.o

Hehe yeh i bet its documented and burried in a forum no one can ever find, or someones blog, this forum is a gigantic mess, like Lindens posting a post, and it goes to a blog?
