For what it's worth to you....all those that are upset about any and all the bugs that come with SL I do empathize and experience the same with you but,....What about those days that do run smooth, your clothes stay on, your out building or rezzing things or can find what your looking for in your Inventory or those days your doing nothing but just having a Hell of a Good Time? Well, I for one stay in Secondlife just for those days and the Wonderful and MOST CERTAINLY TALENTED, CREATIVE, and INTELLIGENT MATURE People I am meeting in there daily. I would like to believe that all these people are you.
Now, what would your reactions be like if per say you have a brother, a friend, or a daughter working at Linden Labs doing all they can to bring you those experiences and smiles? Or worse yet...be a Linden. Look at what they have on their plates now OMG. I know I wouldn't want that job personally trying to bring a fun and up to date (if not State of the Art) high tech game in for people to enjoy yet while trying to do this working with constantly changing technology I might add, people are literally tearing me apart for issues that at times are beyond my control such as connectivity problems with a Server.
Now, I know you all have had that as I have, you lose connection with your server and need to reset the box. I'm sure it's not that easy with the system they are dealing with which would make it a perfect world. Facts are Facts and Linden has been pretty good about telling you not only the positive but the mistakes, and issues that flare up and they are pretty quick about it too. If I were in their shoes I know there are a few things that would help bring it up faster. They need your help though....
The first and most important....Support them in their efforts to correct the issues at hand. A pat on the back goes a long ways. Let them know that those hours spent keeping that Whale of System going is worth it. That they are appreciated and that you understand they are doing all they can. Hold off on the tickets and watch the blog....This in itself would be a BIG help as they won't have time to read them all if trying to get the system up...That is the Priority right? If something isn't working, more than likely your not the only one experiencing this. However, raising your blood pressure and being mad snd cussing all over the net like your NOT the Mature, Intelligent, creative, and very talented people I described above.
It isn't helping to get it going again nor is it good for your health and well being. So, the way I see it, we can ALL help by not bashing the changes made updating to the newest technology in comments and forums or bogging thier system down flooding them with tickets and just have some patience while they work on it. Silence with LL is Golden during these down times. I much rather them spend the time getting her up and running again then be reading my bashing comments and yes It has made me pretty mad too but what what can be done about it but sit back and wait for the SL GODS to perform thier High Tech Miracles.
Come on now, we are all Family and need to stick together right? So, Let's all give em the credit that is do making SL the way she is today and give em a break? We all need to pull together on this and GIT R UP N RUNNIN!! In the mean, utilize the time go do some of the things you have been putting off trying to get that Mall or club up or just plain ol having some fun. This can be positive...Kisses to you all and keep up the good work you do in SL. WE ARE SL....Giggles....Team Work.....We all get our heads in the trap at the same time haha but that's what is special about this game us laughing together, getting frustrated together, and crying together but above any an all all of us working together.
