Since the last update this week, I have noticed a significant increase in general lag. In addition, when moving items to or from my inventory, or moving items around (like furniture or whatnot) there is a HUGE pause before the command is obeyed. Example: Taking an item back into inventory: I click take and the item remains where it is for at least 5 seconds before it disappears.  Everything is just slower. Anyone else having these issues?

Yes. Most are.
And it's bad enough that last night Slex took itself down until things stabilize. Considering that weekends are the biggest sale times, this is REALLY not good news for vendors.
(Crosses her fingers) Hopefully the lindens are aware of this and working on things. (Keeps refreshing the blog as she surfs the web)

In any event, the economy inworld is suffering, and losing one of the very few out of world shopping alternatives (the one most turn to when there are issues) isn't helping.
End of the week or not, a blog post of "we hear ya, we're working on it" might go a long way to soothing a few frazzled nerves.
