Hello,

I have a problem: I cannot access my parcel which is on SIM named "Cool", and anywhere on this SIM. I does this on every SL client Standard/ Release Candidate / Beta on the agni grid.
I have no problems on others SIMs, except usual lag.

When I try to teleport I a at home, I always get the following message.

-------------------
"You have been logged out of Second Life.
You have been disconnected from the region you were in.
Click Continue to look at existing IM and chat.
You will not be able to perform others operations.
Click Quit to exit Second Life immediately."
--------------------

I have the same message when someone tries to teleport me there.

I tried to see if it was a network problem, the WinMTR tool gives me the following results when i try to put the SIMs IP address:

That is exceptionally odd. If other people can get to that sim, but you can't, I'd try deleting your user preference files for SL, to eliminate any possibly corrupted data there. Most of the clients share at least some data from those preference files.

On Windows systems, those files are on a path something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Ceera\Application Data\SecondLife

Where "Ceera" is the user name for logging in on that system.

In that SecondLife folder there will be a folder for each avatar login that you have used from that computer, including any typos that failed to log in. They will have an underscore in place of the spaces in the name. So in my case, there's one called "ceera_murakami". Delete all of those folders, and try logging in to SL again. You'll be back to getting all the first-time newbie alert messages the first time you TP, etc. But it should work after that.

On Mac, I believe you have to search for "SecondLife", and you'll find a similar folder in your account preference folders.

Have you been banned from the sim?

I am not in the banned list, my girlfriend just checked it.

It makes the same thing on 2 different computers....

the two computers are on the same router at home

And I have the same problem with alt accounts

Maybe it's a network issue... don't you think?

The two sims that you're showing stats for are on totally different networks.

Cool is at 212.82.22.235 and the other one is at 63.210.159.33 - I can't do tracert from here at work (outbound disabled :\) but you might want to look for other sims that are at the same colo as Cool and see if you get the same problem there.

Do a tracert to 212.82.22.235 and check the names near the end to see if it's in Texas or in San Francisco then wander around the grid a bit to see if you can find another sim at the same place.

I also notice that your routing to Cool goes France -> England -> Death and the routing to the other sim goes France -> Paris -> Washington -> Atlanta -> Dallas. Er.. Actually, I guess that'd mean Cool is located on a server in San Francisco.

This all looks like an ISP routing issue. You're routed correctly to Texas but the way they're sending you to California gets lost somewhere in England.

...and, in case I wasn't clear, I'm betting that this has nothing to do with your sim in particular. You probably can't get into ANY sim that's in California.

Your best bet is probably to send those WinMTR logs to your ISP's support department and see if they can fix the routing issues.

Did you typo?

sim3754.agni.lindenlab.com resolves to 216.82.22.235 (Texas), not 212 (UK).

It looks like you typo'ed in your traceroute as well since it's tracing to 212. and not 216.

Oh. That could certainly explain why WinMTR sends that one over to the UK (or any random place) instead of SanFran..

So... Ignore everything I say above. :\

TY Kitty!

Let's see the WinMTR or tracert to 216.82.22.235!
