I thought this was broken because I didn't realise you had to zoom in to use it properly..
but now that I figured it out.. all I can say, is wow!
Whoever developed that user experience did an amazingly fantastic job.
Given the difficulties and issues involved, I have to say that is probably the finest job done with user experience I've seen in SL to date.

Your are talking about the price and price per sm and caption that appears when you zoom in on the map?
To bad you can't set a price range filter on the map display.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could set the price per sm on a big parcel and it would calculate the total price for you, and if you divided it into separate parcels, it would calculate the price for the divided parcels based on the price per sm you had set for the whole parcel?
