Answers Needed Linden

We celebrate the growth of Second Life, as a Game I'm sure we all love it, I am also sure most of us love to hate it at times.

I have a little wry smile to myself. I am experiencing problems. Uploads failing, missing inventory, missing avatar, no teleports, failed money transfers, failed buys, things failing to rez (essentially anything thats needed for decent game play fails). I smile to myself because the token answer of "refer to the blog" makes it funnier, according to the blog the issues are resolved? Are they, if they are resolved where do I need to move too to get good game play, or at least half decent game play.

Any major online game like Second Life has troubles we know that, I find it hard to understand why Linden continue to give us insufficent answers to our questions. Your main competitors offer compensation or such like or at the very least a decent reason and resolve to the issues faced by us your paying customers.

I must state that I spend more time trying to deal with the problems of SL in SL than I spend enjoying my gameplay. I have played many online massive multi-player games and I realize that they ALL have their problems. However, when the game is inundated with these problems, such that playing becomes a complete annoyance, then the creators of said game must change their vision of that game. Additionally, when the creators say "these issues are resovled", when they are not nor are any efforts to control and repair these issues working, I must raise a skeptical eye towards those who willingly take my money each month and provide me a landscape where I neither can move nor do more than stand frozen. I question my own intelligence to remain in such an evironment and continue to pay for the priviledge.

Changes will not be truly implemented until the individuals within the SL society raise their voices and truly stand united. We must state quite clearly to the creators of SL that the changes they are implementing are not working and their vision must be restructured so as to make this world useful and enjoyable, rather than frustrating and annoying. Money speaks louder than most anything else in both the real world and the world of SL. If their player base begins to decrease significantly, maybe then they will listen. However, there is the rub - none of us really want to leave to make this statement. One can only hope the SL creators will listen before it comes to such a drastic measure.

Last night when I could not teleport anywhere, I contacted help. I was told as usual that i had to take off all attachments. Of course I anticipated and the only attachment I had left on was hair. I was told to remove my hair and clothes. So I guess now I am reduced to landing in public places nude and bald. TP used to work fine and I could remain fully clothed.
