Btw, In Japan, today is
こどもの日 (Kodomo no hi ) Back in the day when I taught preschool (in California), about half of the student body were from Japanese families, so this was celebrated each year along with the western* holidays. *p.s. any know-it-all who points out that California is, in fact, east of Japan gets smacked with a rolled up magazine  _____________________
