Now that I've taken a lot of screenshgots for many purposes, I have to say - the new snapshot functions are amazing. TY, LL.

How do I get one to go right into snapshots (texture) without being fuzzy? I don't use it for business or anything just fun... and I have been stumped since the update.

Hmm..I had the opposite reaction. I've never seen so many blurry SL snapshots come my way. I figured out that if I max the resolution the chances of blurriness are far less, but it seems very clunky and not really needed.

You can adjust the resolution but the amazing thing to me is being able to snap a scene then move my camera around to find the perfect view while it's frozen. Also, the color is fun to play with for a time or two. I totally dig being able to snap a picture then narrow in the sides to get just what I want. I'm just getting used to it, and the flash is too bright - and taking successive shots is well nigh impossible - but what we have now is amazingly cool. Ideally we'd have the old interface as a choice for successive snapshot uses and other purposes.

Wow..I better play with it somemore. All I've figured out so far is how to make them not overly blurry.

Well.. not making them blurry would be a good start. I will try it later when I am at home and get inworld. :)

I'm having to really crank the resolution to remove the blur in many shots.

I'd like the option to turn off the new tool and use the old one (toggle).

The new features are nice, but I need them about 5% of the time, for the remainder the previous system was fine.

I try to crank the resolution up, but crash. I think my computer maybe can't handle it or something.

I would like the old snapshot system back as a choice.

I'd agree but then you would have to change your mind. :p

I like the new functionality of the dialog, but the new "flash" is rather annoying and unnecessary.

all nice options i agree i have played with it a bit but over all it has taken all the fun out of taking pictures for me so basically i have quit taking them. the new system does not work well with my style of shooting

I have the same problem, but the funny thing is in the preview I had no such problem.

I love the new snapshot system! Primarily because we're no longer limited to one low and one very high image resolution. I know there has been a lot of complaining about the new snapshots, but I hope that if LL changes things, they at least leave that feature in place.

At first I didnt like this new option. But after playing with it awhile, Im getting the hang of it.

I find if I update the photo a few times its sharpens the image, and in all its great. Still working out moving in the preview.

A better preview option would be great. But in all..Im getting to like it!

I've tried to take snaps of fast action (jet skiing) and the new snapshot tool is pretty much useless for it. The scene doesn't freeze completely - avatars are gone, the vehicle too sometimes...

I find the new snapshot system great for taking pictures for ads, but when trying to catch someone with a box on their head, then switching from save to disk to upload a texture.. it retakes the picture and by then the box is off :(
