Lyme disease-infected deer ticks have been found in the forest area around Park Ridge in the Chicago area of Illinois. They have also been found in South West Cook County and some wooded areas of DuPage County. Use a good tick preventative on your pets and groom yourselves like little primates after walking in these areas. Don't forget to check the folds of your ears.
Should you be bitten by a tick, watch the site carefully. If you see a reddish bull's eye around the site go to your family doctor for treatment ASAP.
Note: Not all people get the bull's eye marking. If you start to feel poorly or your joints ache go to your family doctor ASAP.

s'no joke!!  a friend of mine got the lymey last year... took months for him to get over it, even with the good new drugs... affects furries and nons alike

If you have fleas here....THAT'S a serious bug!!!! If virtual fleas are like virtual ciggers you will be changing prim sheets for 60 days to prevent the eggs from reinfesting you!!! Poor girl!!!
