Many of you know Baccara from the great things she has accomplished in secondlife. She is a great event planner, has brought us wonders such as OZ and Neverland and never tires in her desire to give back to this world she loves.

But what most of you do not know about Baccara is that she has MS. It was because of this disease that she was forced to leave her real life job as an event planner and thus found her way to secondlife. Baccara lives with this disease daily and seldom complains or lets it slow her down. This disease affects approximately 400,000 Americans and countless thousands around the world with many more being diagnosed each year.

Liza (Baccara's daughter) is very involved in raising money for the MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis). On April 23rd and 24th people from all over the country walk to raise money and awareness for those afflicted with MS.

On March 27th, I posted a request for donations for an in-world fundraiser. This fundraiser was to raise funds in HONOR of Baccara to be donated to the MS Society. A donation box was placed at the Home Depoz telehub. During this last month, I have been overwhelmed at the generosity of our community.

A BIG THANK YOU to all who donated! The total raised was 382,348L$ ($1233.99 US) that will be donated to the MS Society in honor of Baccara from her friends in secondlife!

How can I thank you all for your support of me, my Liza, and in turn all the people who live with MS daily and are working so hard to assist the researchers in finding a cure?
In our generation each day more and more people are diagnosed with this disease. Today thank goodness there are many treatments available (not cures) to make life easier.

I can simply not believe how blessed my life is by all of you here who are part of my existence every single day. For my wn RL family to be so committed to helping me get through hard times is one thing, but to have the added bonus of all you is simply extraordinary. There have been several times during my SL life that I have been so ill, and those times have been made easier by so many of you. Whether it was an IM, a kind word, a quick hello or a word of encouragement or time spent with me when I could not sleep each moment is special to me.

From the very early days when Fey Brightwillow & Einsman Schlegel were saddled with me doing my own version of "The Wicked Witch of the West" on Yahoo to today when my dear Mash and friends like Rebel, RH, Sylfie, Naydee, Persephone, Carson & so many more took turns being my rocks these past awful weeks when unbeknownst to most I have been having a rough time.
I could not have made it thru some days without you.

There are literally dozens of all you sweet SL'ers that hugged me from afar... Thank you to each and every one.

To all of you who know Mash Mandala and to those who don't...
There is simply not a sweeter, more charming man on the face of this earth. His devotion to all of you his customers is legendary & his devotion to me, well I just do not think any woman has ever been luckier...

At the risk of being much too sappy for my own good, I send you all a giant hug & kiss and know that your Lindens have gone to a very good cause...

Mash and Baccara, you are such wonderful people and such great friends. When I first learned about Baccara's stuggle with MS, my heart truly ached for her. Baccara, you are an inspiration. Through your passion and commitment you have done a great thing, while showing us all how to deal with life's challenges with a positive spirit and purpose in action. I admire and love you both so much and I am happy to call you dear friends. Congratulations on a job well done
