Hello everyone, just wondering what is up with people posting events and then not following thru with them? I went to a posted event for a 1k sploder at midnight, no one showed up and when I IM'd Alora Perse to ask about it, I never got an answer, someone else that was there IM"d her and xdarkx pertwee, he said they never posted an event and that they don't have events like that....so still would like to know about not actually following thru with the event....I know real happens but she was on...

When we had the ratings system, people and establishments like that would get negatively rated. You could abuse report for fraudulent events but like you say it could have been a real life thing. Lots of people remain idle and logged on when away.

umm yes you did get a reply..later but i did reply..I was afk at the time you sent the IM or I would have answerd you then. Due to my mess up that event was postponed to the next day..and was held as posted. I cancled the event listing but aprently not fast enough. We DO NOT list events that we dont plan on on doing on purpose. It was a date mixup on my part. Sorry about the mix up and it was not intentional.

I never answerd you because you never IMd me. Spring Rain was the one I talked to. I did answer her. Hard to reply to an IM I never got isnt it? And nothing I said is a lie. Read my 1st post again. I did list the event,I cancled the event, relisted it for the next day and it was held. No lies there so dont call me a lier.

A lot of people don't seem to realize that there is no difference between their so called Real Lives and their Second Lives. If Second Life isn't real who, then, is sitting behind the keyboard? A ghost? They are both the same unless someone has been reading too many Carlos Castaneda books. If a person posts an event and doesn't show up then you have met an undependable person in both lives.

Wow. God forbid a person makes a mistake on here. Apparently if you do that makes you a liar and undependable. Even if you admit your mistake and apologize. I did have the event the next day as that is when it was ment to be held,so I did show up. Isnt that what this Thred was about in the first place? Posting an event and not haveing it. Sad to see I’m the only one who isn’t to perfect to understand that mistakes do happen. I'm guessing all you people bashing me for my mistake have never made one of your own because if you have....what right do you have to rip on me for a simple misunderstanding?
