Dave Zeeman?
When I joined SL the first time he was the MAN! He had just been appointed to refurb the grand casino and he had done all sorts of cool IW stuff.
Then I got laid off, moved cities, and abandoned SL for a year. When I returned, nothing of him remained. It was like trying to find the ruins of Atlantis.
Any other people that were huge that suddenly disappeared?

Dave is busy finishing up school. He does occasionally make brief appearances in world for special occasions (he bid on me and won at the recent katrina auction )

I miss Ace Cassidy... I used to go to his drum circles all the time when I was new, and had a huge amount of fun. It was so cool to see him dancing around in that buffalo headdress with the soundclips in it... then other things took over my time, and I stopped going. I didn't notice when he left, I just happened to see one day that his profile said he was no longer in the game... and just last week I checked again, and he's no longer listed at all. Probably all this happened quite a while ago and I just missed it... at any rate, it's too bad, he was a cool guy. I can only assume RL is taking up all his time now.

I remember Dave with the casino and having the first avatar stacks on his land lol. Like Aimee said he's just been really busy in real life and well SL has changed and grown a great deal. I for one am glad he still comes in now and then to show his face, I miss it!

I wasn't there at the beginning of Dave's Second Life but it's been a joy to hang out with him. The guy has crazy ideas when he really gets going, and I really relate to this. There are several renowned oldbies who I respect both for their kindness (as viewed through my lens on the SL Forums) and their contributions to SL who don't show up anymore—I've been striving to get in touch with them over time. Some show up on occasion, what can I say, leave an IM! It's kinda like a ghost spirit sighting. I'm with Ilia on Ace Cassidy too—those were some of my fave first experiences here in SL. Seeing Robbie Dingo's creations reminds me of that in some way, and it's nice to know the beat goes on.

Eddie and I just heard from Rei. He's been busy and taking a long break from SL, but he'll be back.

I loved Dave Zeeman's gameshow events. He had his gameshow-host banter down pat, and even had the theme music. (Though my favorite part was when he'd slap people with the microphone when they said something stupid.) Those were a hoot.

Mark Roarke and his crazy, drunken avatar, riding that mutated, two-headed sheep! That guy was a riot, and always made me laugh so hard it hurt.

From: Ingrid Ingersoll Anyone seen Reitsuki Kojima lately? No. And I'm a bit worried about him, and hoping his abscence is, at worst, a choice he made to make a little room in his RL for something nice...

She is a fledging young concert pianist, and I am sure misses us every single day, and may come back sometime... We all sure miss her. Her lovely clothes were generously set for $1 per piece for all to share before she left at her shop in TAN, so stop by and get some ladies... (MILANO FASHIONS)
