------->> NEED ADVICE <<--------

ok so i've been thinking about how to get a job in SL with something I like. I've played the flute for about twenty years so i think i can (try) and make it as a live musician. I'm not exactly sure about how to do that.

I know i need to (probably pay) someone to design me a flute object and 1 or 2 gestures/animations of someone playing the flute.

I have recordings (mp3s) of myself playing on my computer.

What i don't know how to do is pull it all together and get the music to play while i'm "animating".

Or should I get someone to make me a "play flute" animation ball so i can loop the animation?

The live musicians in SL actually play live and stream their performances in.

What it sounds like you want to do is pipe in pre recorded music, therefore not live.

Or have I misunderstood?

Shes new and trying to understand how it all works, I understand and yes, what she described is not live.

So Crystal, to bring RL to SL by doing what you do, yes you'd prolly want a "play flute" poseball as you stated, another thing you'll need is a stream, microphone and someway to connect the 2, most of us use Shoutcast.

As for making the flute, Contact me or I'll contact you and we'll see what we can do.
