Metaverse Media Announces “Project Fur”.
SECOND LIFE – Metaverse Media, owners of the Second Life Times, announced today that they will begin working on a new e-magazine that will be targeted towards the large population of “Furry” players in the game. The magazine will feature articles and stories written by players in the game and will also feature art, also collected from players in the game. Metaverse Media says that there will be few people that will be employed for the magazine, thus making the magazine more of a showcase than informational magazine. Metaverse Media is calling this “Project Fur” at the moment because they have been unable to create a suitable name for the magazine, and they are allowing anyone to submit a name for consideration. The magazine will be bi-monthly at first, but may become monthly as it progresses. The first issue is expected out late July. It will be published in the form of an Adobe PDF file.
About Metaverse Media:
Metaverse Media was started in January 2006 under the name “Online Times Publishing”. The name was changed to Metaverse Media in February 2006. They operate the Second Life Times web-blog, a Message Board system, and additionally keep United Sims Online, a Sims Online website that closed in 2005 up for archival purposes. They do anything from News websites to website administration/upkeep, graphic design, and video.
