Returning to Uru

As of Friday night I shall be bowing out of SL to devote more of my free time towards Uru, in particular the official Cyan-opened shard D'mala.

This is more a leave of absence than anything else, though for how long I don't know yet. It could be a couple months, it could well be forever. But as one of the more vocal supporters of the game, I feel obligated to assist in the ongoing discussion with both Cyan themselves and the in-character 'staff' known as the DRC.

Couple of quick things of note:

- The parcel being rented in Tavarua is not going anywhere, there are others working there and so has its own life now. :)

- I'm not leaving SL entirely, but its already very rare to find me online, and so this merely formalizes what I do next. Most of my SL time from now on will likely be used only to check on projects like InnerLife (see sig link) and to ensure the parcel payments go out. ;) I'll also be answerable to PM and IM when I get the chance to look at them.

- Will also be available on IRC. However, I will be changing nick to my UrU login (and by association RL name).

- My Money Tree will be yanked, as I'll need to keep closer eye on SL finances (which I do still intend to use from time to time).

- I do have future plans with SL. Hopefully by end of this weekend I'll have hashed out the basics of what I intend to present in July, and then just need to research the remaining Meta-World systems in use (that I've not already fiddled with - I think just AW at this point).

- This has nothing to do with my run-through as a Resident Moderator, despite the timing ;) . I probably would have continued if no news came out.

Anyway, hope things turn out well here. I'll be in touch.

/me wishes it was this easy to link to D'mala.

Safe journey Alan! I will do my best to visit there myself soon.
