Ok I dont know if someone has posted this idea at any point before. Ok well you all know how we can get mod rights to alter someone's objects that they have sitting out. Why is there not a way to make Attachments modable by someone else? I'd like a linden response to this as well if at all possible. This would be a really helpful feature for like say furry avatar mod's having someone help you create hair or adjusting attachments you may of bought. Also another suggestion would be when you choose to attach to a certain spot from by right clicking an object you have out that you spent time building around that point why cant it attach just as it is with that positioning data or at least make a method so that we can adjust the direct numbers when an object is attached to us. I cant alter the position manually i have to use that arrows...

Awhile ago, I suggested a fine-grained permissions system to replace friends lists which would have allowed for this.
Unfortunately, it had two objections stacked against it : 1) everyone learns how to manipulate their own attachments after awhile, so it'd really only help very new newbies. 2) in order to get such a flexible permissions system, a lot of work would have to be done, and LL staff are very busy. _____________________

True i know how to manipulate my objects but my partner knows more then i do and can mod stuff easier. It'd be better for more then just really new players. Like an example Furry mod's. Not everyone is super good with that and you could have someone you know and trust edit the furry for you (making sure you make a copy in case they end up dishonest. It'd take awhile sure but it'd be worth it ultimately. I like some of the idea and other parts are pointless as we are at some point supposed to get some of the stuff. I like something like this what i mentioned and there is more to it then just helping a newbie do such and such. |
