Cancelling the Friday water thingy class...have to work...starting NOW..hehe...don't know when I'll be back on. Will try to contact the lady who booked it.. Selaras P...but dunno if I'll remember..tres bizzy!! Sorry SP...but RL is huge right now!!

While it is nice you let the forum know, what is so hard about dropping that lady an IM inworld? You aren't sure you will remember, pfffffffft.
I feel bad for poor lightly considered Selaras P. I'll save some hugs for her.

Aaah, yes...as a lunch break would have it, I was able to go inworld to do a quick 'hello' etc to Selaras. I have many folks go to my classes...at times some ask for certain days or times way in advance. So, I always announce inforum any changes with the class...whether it's venue or time. However, IF Linden Lab decides to have their update and I'm beeped to go to work contemporaneously..well...I don't have a hard time making the choice of doing a casual inforum 'cancel' to students..and to the one who's booked the class, since there would be no other way for that moment to get the message out. My work is rather serious..and I'd hardly think about SL or anything else while doing it. I was worried that it's consuming nature would make me forget to go back on SL even if I did have a moment  And the last thing I'd ever want to do is be a 'no show' for a class. Even if it's 'only' SL. Selaras has appeared at my academy as a guest artist..and I"ve taught for her school more than once, I believe. Thankyou for worrying about her. As to whether I'd ever wish her any major or minor slight...I'll use your Websterian neo, if you don't mind...Pffffft And to soothe your soul re: the ups and downs of first AND second life...remember, Summer--nihil est omnino beatum! |
