The long awaited grand opening of Djork Island is here and we are celebrating all day! Kicking things off at 11 AM is two hours of fun and mayhem at Djorkland Amusements. Knife throwing, fishing, roller skating, ice skating, boogie, skee ball, bumper boats, super slides russian roulette and dancing on the boardwalk.
At 1:30 PM, we invite you to join us for two hours of rest, relaxation and underwater scavenging at Djork Resort. Four different themed cabins to explore, underwater garden for rest, relaxation and scuba - and if you are lucky you will find a special treasure hidden among the coral... Reservations for specific dates and times for specific cabins will be taken starting tomorrow.
Starting at 4 PM there will be madness in the streets of Djorkwich village as we hold Bispa Scooter Races (TM Les White). Relax in the park by the fountain, picnic under the trees, shop to your hearts content, but beware of speeding scooters racing to the finish line!
From 6:30 to 8:30 PM get your daily dose of art and culture at the opening of The Djorkenheim a new gallery celebrating the community of amazing artists living and creating in Second Life. There will be fun surprises as you wander the exhibits so please come and join us for this special event.
Closing out the day at 9 PM will be music, conversation, dancing - and cockails at the Club KT tiki bar and lounge. Feel up for a game of spades or some partner mahjong? There is plenty to do even if you don't feel like shaking your goove thing. We'll be dancing until the wee hours so stop by any time you feel like getting your Djork on!
