Many of you don't know me, some of you dislike me, some of you really hate me, some of you I know, and we we're friends, and despite me not being here for very long, I've decided to quit Second Life due to personal things, mainly depression, and anger. Although I can't tell you what or give you any better reason right now, because I'm not even sure I know exactly why I'm doing it, I've decided that this'll be for a long time if not for good. I'd just like to say my perhaps final farewell, and I hope you guys have fun in SL. -_-

You know... one week isn't really enough to give SL a chance because it's unlike pretty much anything else out there on the market, and it doesn't have that many 'hooks' that most gamers can latch on to quickly and easily. It takes a while to discover the potential of SL, and to find your place in all the possibilities that lie ahead of you - perhaps nobody else has yet discovered it, and you could be the first to create something in SL.

I'm quite convinced that I built Second Life's first fork lift truck. Not earth shattering, I know, but it's an achievement I can be proud of.

Sorry to hear you're leaving. SL can be tough to figure where you fit in.

I think i purchased it, i've been having fun singing "he tried to kill me with a forklift" and running over my friends.

I never met ya... but good luck out there.
Depression and anger are not easy things to combat. With all sincerity and support I say get some help.

Good luck, Aden. In the future be sure to drop in to Second Life once in a while to see what's up. SL will change, and might be a good "fit" sometime. I remember reading a book I just couldn't get into - I put it down, but much later read it avidly. The time has to be right. Be well.

Damn.. someone posted asking for his stuff before I could.

The phrase originated pretty much in the manner described in the following link

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=can+I+have+your+stuff%3F&defid=1859605

Currently it's also used occasinally to mean just the opposite... in other words... "Damn man... hate to see you go.."

He could have meant it either way....

But seriously dude... can I have yer stuff?

Lewis, I'm not sure SL's the reason he's quitting. It looks like something in RL.
