Second Life on TV...

I was just reading and had the tv on... on a very popular channel in my country, the program that was on is very popular to ( http://curtocircuito.sapo.pt/)... And they have a little news section.
And I was really surprised to hear a mention to SL, they made a short presentation of SL and focused the fact that Duran Duran will give shows in a little island of their own (I didn't knew that), the focus part of the new is the less important part of it... The important matter is that this is the first public reference to SL in Portugal, my home country. Hopefuly, this will shed some interest in the portuguese online gamers, which, in my opinion, are geting a bit bored of the same sort of games over and over again... Maybe this will be the engine the portuguese comunity was needing to develop in SL.

So, probably is expected a little boost in the resident number of portuguese people around...
And that is good indeed...

Channel 4 here in the UK has been running a series of short documentry style films in the evening after the news.

Here's another one. On channel 7 in Australia, Second Life appeared on a program called Beyond Tomorrow. First time I've seen SL mentioned on local TV here.
