I like the sway, too -- it gives life and dimension to the environment. I suppose a little less would be okay, but I'd never want to see it gone altogether.

Those posting comparing the tree sway in SL to hurricanes obviously have never been through one. It is a little disconcerting to see a tree in a totally enclosed building swaying furiously. It would be nice to be able to turn off sway. Just saying.:)
