<<What Is It?>>
The Virtuality Photography Contest is a contest that runs once a year for the purpose of celebrating the rich and eclectic environment found in Second Life, as well as the vast well of creativity and passion to be found in its community. This year's theme is Photo-Unrealism. Like all art the theme is open to artistic interpretation.


<<Where Will It Be?>>
The Mood Indigo Art Gallery, located in Indigo sim off of Deadly Nightshade Studios.


<<When Will It Happen?>>
The contest is set for the 27th of May, 2006. Showing will open at 12:00pm SLT and run till 8:00pm SLT when the final decision of the judges will be announced. In addition to the showing there will be live music by...

-DJ Ferret (Sevidra Batra)
-rock artist Kaklick Martin (4-5pm)
-blues sensation Komuso Tokugawa (6-7pm).


<<What Are the Rules?>>
- Entries are limited to one per artist.
- Entries must be snapshots taken within the mechanics of SL. They cannot be modified by any external means. In other words, once you click that 'Take Snapshot' what you see is what we should get.
- All entries must be submitted no later than the 22nd of May.
- Artists may put a sale price on their own entries. All proceeds from art sales will be kept by the originating artist.
- Each artist must be available at least 24 hours before the event to put up their entries in the gallery.


<<What Are the Prizes?>>
- $1000L will go to the Grand Prize winner of the competition.
- $500L will go to the first runner up.
- The grand prize winner will also be awarded a trophy representing the Belladonna Society Virtuality Prize for Photography.


<<How Do I Enter?>>
Easy. Simply send a notecard to Nefaniel Galbraith with the following information.

1) Your Full SL Name
2) The Name of your Entry
3) Why your entry best represents the theme of Photo-unrealism.

When your entry is recieved you will be given a notecard with further instructions on the event itself. Please do not send the photos themselves.
