FACT: Using live music agents can seriously affect the amount of L$ you currently own. 30 seconds after paying 3,000L$ you may recieve a message like this:
Name Withheld: 'sorry to say he made a mistake he confused sl noon and japan noon sl noon is 4am for him so looks like I cant help you all others are booked'
You will then most likely recieve no other reply and find the agent has logged out from SL. One musician suggests that this is simply a no refund policy. 3k is nothing to me but to many of the small and struggling clubs its a fortune. Ask yourself if you think this fair. 3k for silence?
If you would like to avoid falling for this LIVE MUSIC scam/policy (ahem), then simply do NOT hand over any L$ until you at least see the musician at your venue ready to play! Well silly me for trusting friends of friends.

it makes me sick to know that even in a game people rip other people off... and music of all things... thats just stupid... i only say this cause i live off music and people are killing the great little clubs that play music i like... it makes me sad.. and very sick!!

I feel it only fair to eat humble pie and admit I WAS WRONG! The fee charged by the agent was in fact returned almost immediately. I have since learnt that the no refund policy is if the person booking the gig cancels and not if the musician cancels!
