I'd like to give MAD RESPEKT to Garth and Pituca, ever since Day 1 of my Second Life. I heard about Fairchang Island—and their wedding!—from a NWN article, and Garth+Pituca were so nice to me when I got inworld. I remember one of my first beautiful sunsets and they were sitting together in a... what are those chairs called... I forget the name... but it was a chair nonetheless.
Infact on my very first day, I played Jeopardy on the ol' Stage 4 hosted by Pitu, which was the first event I ever attended. It really gave me a glow of what this community is all about. So that's my roots, and the Fairchangs are still here after so many other islands have passed by... it's amazing. HERE'S THAT EVENT LISTING! This is one of many, many community contributions the Fairchangs have made, making Second Life a happier place for many Resis. And not just history, because they're still here today!
