my SL keeps crashing or freezing after couple of minutes. sometimes it works good, and sometimes it freezes soon after restart. it's been like this since the last update. I've cleared the cache, tried different settings, but no luck whatsoever. is there an update package what I've missed or something?

SecondLife updates automatically, you can't use it without downloading the new update. It is currently updates every wednesday, so not long to go before the next update, see if it works right then  |

Have you checked to see if your resources are being swallowed by programs running in the background on your PC? If it is totally freezing up it may be a memory issue. Of course that is a general suggestion as without more info it would be hard to diagnose. I hope it works for you soon.

it freezes totally, and afaik, there was no other programs running in the backround.

..... I'm starting to get pissed. it just keeps crashing as soon as I go to area where's more than few other avas or bit more stuff on screen.
