After reading this thread.

I was doubtfull we would be able to do much good for some SL friends of mine that lost thier RL home to a horriffic fire on Mar. 28.

HOWEVER, I am proud to announce that the SL COMMUNITY!! Came out in FULL force!!

Our fundrasier for Navenia and Tristin was a HUGE success, we raised a total of 126400L in a WEEK!! I will be mailing them a check for $412.02 first thing Monday morning!! Thank you again to all that donated!!

AS FOR THOSE OF YOU IN THE EARLIER THREAD. PFFFFTTTT!!

I too was surprised by the SL community coming out in force like they did to help a wonderful family in need!! Many thanks and Unlimited love go out to all who donated in any way shape or form to this cause.

This proves to me that there really are good people in this world worthy of praise for being decent, kind human beings. As to all the skeptics and cynics who might have thought this was a scam. I am sorry for any unfortunate events or scams that have been run on you or anyone you know to make u so distrustful of a cause like this.

Once again, many thanks and much love go out to those who helped our cause and the family we took donations for wil be forever indebted to you!! GOD BLESS U ALL!! AMEN!!

Congratulation on a well organized and successful event!

I am glad to see that you did not get discouraged by the initial negative response from some in this forum.

It is good to see that there really are more good people in SL willing to help out when someone is in need. I hope the skeptics from the other post (who did not bother to get more information from you) never end up in a situation where they could use a little help from a friend and the community.

For Those Who Donated And For Those Who Didn't Trust

For those who trusted, believed and done the kindest of all acts......I thank u from the depth of my heart for reaching out and helping my family when we needed it most. I could never thank any of u enough. Upon browsing the internet I found this poem and knew that I just had to share it with u

And for those who can't trust:

I understand the doubts and previous scams that have occurred in SL, so ur reluctance is understood. Opinions r free to be expressed. I just hope that u will never ever have to go through what myself, my rl hubby and my 4 & 6 yr. olds had to experience. I just wish that those of u who felt that u needed to post ur distrust of my sl friends would reach out to them and express an apology......not for ur feelings or opinions but for accusations to a great many sl friends of mine who did nothing but try to reach out and help a family who needed it....I would do the same for them and I would do the same for u.....I'm just sorry that helping someone has resulted to this kind of behavior.
