I'm a bit worried about the plumbing the the Brownstone East. I can hear something in the wall - I think we might have a slow leak. Could you take a look at it?

It's worse than I first thought - I think we might need a plumber.

Um, yeah, Salazar, it's getting kinda deep in there... there's a fish swimming around even! I'd say the situation is starting to become serious.

Isn't that just typical? The place is flooding and the landlord is nowhere to be found. :D

I took you advice, Ilia - you told me to stick a cork in it. That has helped a great deal.

Osprey:

My apologies for the delay. I don't read this forum too often.

The building you occupy (like it's sister -- The Brownstone West) is a unique ediface with many quirks. The structure is old, a bit unstable and prone to episodes of localized temporal and extra-dimensional distortions. The portion of the Lindens' Grid located in southern Grignano is particularly susceptible to grid-shifting phenomena. This has created a situation where unpredictable events spontaneously manifest and (most times) clear up on their own.

The water pipe currently rezzed on the west wall of your gallery space is not supposed to be there. That pipe did exist in the original Brownstone East that was on the same spot prior to the Great Erase. I did not include that pipe when I rebuilt the structure upon returning here two years ago. My GINI indicates the pipe has a different temporal signature than the rest of the building. It exists in a pocket of space/time that is overlapping into ours. The Lindens might be able to help us seal that breach by adjusting the Grid harmonics in southern Grignano. I will try to get their attention and see if they can help us out.

It's a touchy situation. If they tweak it too much there may be a more serious situation on our hands. Perhaps even exposure to the forces that exist outside The Grid. We need to avoid that at all costs. And who knows when they can look into it. Perhaps I should leave a post in the Land Management forums or Second Answers...

It is possible that situation may right itself on it's own eventually. They usually do. I'm afraid your solution to cork the exposed end may be the best one we have for now. I just hope that the photos hanging in your gallery are repellent. I mean from water. No offense intended.

Oh... I duct-taped the cork. You can never be too sure.

Let's hope so - it's getting deep in there!

I'm not sure. I have my fingers crossed that it will hold until the end of the gallery showing at least.

Hmmm, if it were possible, in light of this, you could try adding another piece of pipe to let the leaking water go out the window and into the canal... but since different areas of space/time are involved, maybe not. More duct tape! :D
