As I was participating in the Relay for Life today, I realized there was no group for people that have lost loved ones to cancer. I lost both my parents to this deadly disease within 2 yrs of each other, I just thought it would be nice to have something where people could share stories and celebrate life. :)

Yes, it would be nice. I lost mine also because of cancer. I wanted to help with the Relay of Life in memory of my mother. I have tried to IM the person in charge. But nothing. Maybe they have enough people. But, hopefully I could could keep donating for this cause in game one way of the other. Even sharing stories like you mentioned here.

I have lost various relatives to cancer. Most recently and closest to home, I lost my father in January to lung cancer. Our local hospice was wonderful during the whole thing. It would be nice to share with others who understand.
