Thank you very much Robert. That covered most of the things I wanted to know, I just have some minor niggly things:

An island is a flat $195 per month, with the first payment billed 30 days after the delivery of the island


To make sure I understand, this means billing is done in arrears? For example, if I pay $195 on June 15th I'm paying for the period May15th->June 15th? I'm preparing a preliminary plan for joint island "ownership", and this obviously affects the exit situation.

Also, can you confirm this is a monthly fee and not an every-30 days fee? I assume monthly (like all other fees) but you did say the first charge is on the 30th day after getting the sim, not one calender month later.
