With the rapid expansion of the Grid, infrastructure has fallen farther and farther behind. The Great Wall has laid uncompleted, stopped abruptly. Roads on the Atoll appear on occasion, and the railroad appears nearly complete. The south-east continent (does it have a name?) has little or no infrastructure from what I can tell.
Would it be feasible to perhaps enlist the help of residents? I'd be loathe to attempt a major engineering feat like the great wall but I'd gladly try my hand at working on some roads, and sometimes I'll see areas where a resident or group owns an entire sim's worth of mainland and will build their own roads on protected land through creative root prims -- perhaps their roads can be turned into official infrastructure with their permission?
Just an idea, Kristian

A good idea - I'm going to ask someone from the content team to address your specific questions about the wall, the atoll, the railroad and any infrastructure plans for protected land within the southern continent. In terms of having residents take over, it seems that it's largely a question of rallying the various landowners to join forces and decide what they want. Perhaps using the new group tools that are currently being tested in Preview 1.12 it would be possible to create a homeowner's group to come up with a design and implementation plan. Would be fun to try!
