The concern over teens on Main grid.

Firstly I am one of those who feel that removing the CC/Paypal requirement was a good move as it opens up Secondlife to more people which is a good thing.

Having said that I do think it's a bit to lax and wondered if you guys had any plans for more verification ( other than the 'verified account flag' which I don't agree with as 'verified' most definatly DOES NOT mean 'not a teen' ). The main one I had in mind, is to accept e:mail addresses only associated with the IP address the resident uses. i.e. you can't use yahoo, msn etc. addresses. You MUST use the one directly associated with the ISP you use and it must be verified before you activate the account (pretty sure it's not difficult to associate the two as you know the IP address of both the e:mail address and residents IP address). Basically an extension of what many forums use. You could then both limit number of accounts per e:mail address as they can't be indefinatly created unlike a yahoo or MSN one.

Do you have any plans along these lines?
