Arf.

Would it be possible to have a blog RSS in the viewer? Something up between the parcel name and SLT time maybe (I'd like it changed back to SLT from PST by the way. Possible to change that in any of the XML files for the UI? ^^ ).
So whenever you update the blog it would show up there and I'd be updated directly about news, no need to check with a browser if something new is up.

For example with the rolling update happening now, I got surprised, wondering why the sim is restarting. With the latest headlines from the blog directly in my viewer I'd then get to know a rolling update is to be before it even starts and I don't have click F5 with the blog open in my browser to keep up with it.
Also, it should reduce questions such as "Why is SL slow", "Where's my inventory", etc. because one would get the answer right there when you update the blog about it. Would help reduce load on Live Help, customer support and Linden Answers forum I believe.

Have a good day LL. ^.^

We can look into that, although I suspect it will be easier once we have html on a prim within SL. For now, links to the latest blog posts can be found on the log-in page. While I know that doesn't do you a whole lot of good once you're in-world, you can at least see if there are any updates in progress when you log-in. We also try to make sure that we make an in-world announcement when we do a rolling update, or if there are serious grid problems, so keep an eye on those blue announcement boxes that show up in the top right hand corner of your screen.
