Trouble with premium account / credit card

Hello, I wanted to upgrade from basic to premium today and entered PayPal as payment method. When I now choose a payment plan (annual in my case) and click on Save, I receive an error message saying that there was an error with my credit card information. Why does this happen, as I chose PayPal and NOT credit card.

- Do I need to enter credit card information anyway, in addition to Paypal ?
- Do I need to transfer US$ to my SL account first, to use for my premium account ?

As far as I understood this, Linden should simply charge my bank account via PayPal, and I should not be required to enter credit card info or transfer money in advance, right ?

Please help me, because I was unable to find any information on this in the support section or in this forum. Thank you in advance !

I'm going to forward your question to the billing department. You will most likely not hear back from them until Monday, when the office is open. In the meantime, please also check this article in the Knowledge Base to see if it helps you resolve your problem.
