I'm asking here on behalf of the number of residents who are right now quite angry (likely understatement) regarding the blog comment moderation. My one and only comment is up so I'm not one of those affected.
In the interest of bringing peace of mind to everyone, can a Linden comment on the moderation criteria for the blog comments? More precisely can someone supply a brief explanation as to why certain posts get approved and others that IMO meet typical moderating criteria better are not passed?
To help cut through the clutter, their comments are here.

A good number of forum members have at several times complained about uneven moderating. I just hope this is not another cause for them to continue saying so.
I'm sure that there is a flood of comments on the blog and I can understand if you need to keep the number of visible posts down.
What the community needs to know is that the decisions are not arbitrary and that people are not being singled out.
