Hi
I read this topic and your reply.

I have a couple of issues I would like to raise if thats okay.
It is an indisputable fact that the majority of content creators perceive LL do nothing about texture thieves.
Simply put, people want to see LL taking action.
If you don't appear to do anything, then content creators will drift away and I think this is an enormous mistake to not even realise this about your own product.
1. How are you going to change our perception on this?
2. Why does LL appear completely passive about this subject?
3. What actions (if any) have you taken so far against people?
4. Have you warned, suspended or banned anyone over this?
You say you do not think its difficult for people to understand how to file a DMCA claim, but I have to inform you that you write like you are talking to lawyers or a jury - not gamers/content creators. I find 90% of your replies in that post confusing so it doesn't really help the situation in any way - quite a few people will be even more confused now.
Could you possibly re-write all your replies in language that anyone can easily understand please.
I have given up producing content in protest because I don't see how you protect my rights or even offer me any rights.
Every day I hear of and see, people being ripped off. This is an increasing problem.
Could you please tell me in concise, easy to understand language what protection LL offer me as a content producer and also what punishment you will take against someone that copies one of my textures and re-sells it.
I.E. what will you do to me if I steal someone's skin texture, upload it and sell it as my own?
Finally in any case where you may have taken action against someone for theft, do LL keep the $L10 upload fee of every stolen graphic?
#If# this is the case, don't you think it may look bad that LL actually benefit from theft, shouldn't this be given to the victim?
