Downgrade not applied

My account is almost 1 year old, and since I do not own land anymore, I wanted to downgrade my account so I dont have to pay the $72 annual fee.

So I followed the procedure on the website, but the next day it said my account woulf be downgraded in October!

Will I have to pay the annual fee again, or will it recognize that I chose to downgrade before my account reached the 1 year date? (june 17 2005)
