As I understand it, the minimal cost associated with listing a parcel of land in "places" (L$30/wk) is applied to the group if the land is deeded to a group, the same way the dwell payments are split among all members of the group the land is deeded to. This charge today is typically offset by the dwell income of the land, so except for -very- rare circumstances, you never see a "group charge". With the removal of dwell payments, will these group charges become more common? I currently hold land with my partner in the game as a co-officer, and have a few other close friends as members of the same group that holds that land. We also have a small shop that we have listed in the "places". When dwell is removed, I would hate to see our friends charged for being in our land holding group, simply because we chose to advertise our shop. Now granted, we're talking L$30/wk across a five member group. I think we can all handle it financially. It's more about the prinpicle of the matter.
Has there been any thought or planning put forth for this issue? Perhaps an option to only charge the group officers or even a single user of the group for this charge? Is my understanding of how the charge is applied completely off, maybe?
