THIS IS NOT A REPOST BECAUSE I NEVER REPOSTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

PLEASE READ

Ummmm wt...?
I made a post which was slandered by another person who purposely misquoted me:
Here > My post: /108/b4/118422/1.html#post1125621
Misquoted post: /108/b4/118422/1.html#post1125635

Then I brought it to the resmods attention by posting on the resmod forum:
Here > /274/49/118454/1.html

The original thread in queston was later locked for whatever reason (I was not even following the thread). My concern had nothing to do with why the thread was locked or whatever...my only concern was that I was purposely misquoted.

So therefore I am now looking at the thread I made and see that IT WAS LOCKED ...the reason?

Reposting – If a moderator removes your post, do not repost it elsewhere. Do not repost threads that have been locked or deleted and do not repost content that has been edited or deleted by a moderator. Furthermore, please do not post a "why did my post get removed" post. Send any further discussion regarding post removals to abuse@lindenlab.com.

Here > /274/49/118454/1.html

No one moved my post! I did not repost! I never reposted content that was locked! I never posted anything about why my post got removed either!

How can you say I was REPOSTING WHEN I POSTED MY QUESTION AND REPORTED THE THREAD BEFORE THE DA*N THREAD WAS LOCKED? When a person reposts....don't they do it AFTER a thread is locked? I posted hours before the thread was locked...so how was I repostig?

I would imagine that this was an oversight by the resmod who is locking all the threads...but I had nothing to do with that thread being locked and WAS NOT REPOSTING.

The initial post was made at 1:20 PM EST on 6/4/2006
My post was misquoted at 1:31 PM EST on 6/4 2006 (11 minutes later)

I posted here:/274/49/118454/1.html
at 4:14 PM EST on 6/4/2006 (a couple hours later) and included snapshots of the page in question.

Then at 10:01 PM EST on 6/4/2006 (several hours later) Zapoteth Zaius locked the thread.
Then he went to my thread (which was a complaint) and locked MINE claiming that was reposting!

How the heck did THAT happen? Now I am labeled as a REPOSTER when I NEVER EVEN REPOSTED!

Please please please ask your resmods to READ READ READ before making false accusations!! This is not the first time that I have been wrongly targeted by your resmods. I am beginning to notice a pattern. If I have done something wrong, please let me know. As far as I can see I have not broken any rules.

Am I in the wrong "click"? Wrong hairdo? Wrong something else? Why is it that when someone tries to do the right thing around here they are belittled and trampled on? This is extremely frusturating.

It is good for you that you have a resmod program because it takes gives you Lindens time to do more important things...I get that...but it seems as if the power they have been given is being abused. If they are going to do the job, then it should be done without biased and discrimination.

Ah, MadamG, let's keep it simple.

Let's start fresh.

The best place to ask for a policy clarification, really is in SL Answers. This includes inquiring about what's acceptable on the forums.

The context here: a repost of post from a locked thread.

The clarity: that in itself isn't the whole story, as you've expressively mentioned. (Not to mention the personal dispute aspect--but let's get the dirty laundry clean. Every day is a new one.) I had a word with the ResMods about this.

What should have been done: your post should have been moved into SL Answers so I could reply and clarify. I did reply, in any case.

There is no "clique". I myself am a wandering, dirt-digging nomad. I particularly care for positivity, but hold no torches nor pitchforks to any group in Second Life. I appreciate the wonders and the beauty here, as much stress and busy-ness can be present. It's healthier for all involved.

But, as for the things we can do better, I do apologize, and we'll take your suggestion and endeavor to improve.

Have a wonderful day!
