Do Lindens read 3rd party Forums?

Is there any way to get feedback on Bug Report? I've looked on the Known Issues page, and it seems to me to be way out of propotion, given recent issues that have arisen. There is one entry listed there as Critical (SL-11428: No copy objects los on llGiveInventory() to a busy mode avatar) that has been present since 1.8.3.10. The last update reads Wednesday, November 29, 2006.

Also, consider putting in a comment or work around.

Answer is, yes, there are Lindens who do read 3rd-party forums, altho this is often more for entertainment than work purposes, since they're not official ways to provide problems. Historically, however, we have gotten heads-up of some news on Resident-run forums.

I used to read and participate in a number; nowadays, most of my time is spent on blogs and wikis, which is still about content but different formats. Most of my forum'ing time @ work is either on these SL Forums, or tech support forums asking for help with software we use, like WordPress for blogging, or vBulletin for forums.

While Linden Answers isn't a bug report forum, and while we do read all the bug reports that come in, regrettably, we generally can't provide feedback — the sheer volume of correspondence that'd entail would involve bugs not being repro'ed formally and filed in the first place.

( When the world was a smaller place, I used to be able to help check out many of these in person, but nowadays, to say the least, I have a lot to attend to. )

I'll forward word of SL-11428 to our Bug Hunters if an update's needed. I remember when that bug was a hot issue, and haven't heard anything about it lately.
