I just rang the telephone support number in the US. The website says its is open untul 6 PM. It was 1:35 am in the UK at the time of my call, so it was 5:35 pm in California, yes?
I got the "please call during normal support hours" message. I'll call UK support in the morning I guess, but could you arrange to either update the support hours listed on the website, or to actually have the phones answered?
I don't mean to be obnoxious but I'm at the end of my update > break > fix > update > break > fix > update > break > ARRRRRRGH rope now, as I imagine a lot of other people are. The suspicion that there are either not enough support staff to deal with the craptastic update fiascos or that - God forbid - they're knocking off early in the middle of technical support armageddon, is beyond frustating.
Answer your phone. Just answer it. Thank you.
