Ok, probably there is in some place, in SL rules, something that say "You will not be refunded for anything happens in lindens servers, for crashes, for down grids, etc..." I've never read all SL rules: too much things to read and to remember. I try to be manner in SL and I think that is enough. But, really, I pay for premium account, for tiers, for other lands fees... Each time the grid fall down, I loose time and money. If I make a sum of all hours I've lost during SL issues, I think I will discover a lor of lost money/time. Lindens can calculate this time and can calculate how many time each user have lost during grid down periods. I know, that means you should give money (L$) to users and you probably dont want to give out money generally... is commercial logic, I know. But try to understand something. Is only a suggest. Thank you and bye.

Imajica, yes, we do have a downtime policy referred to by the Terms of Service! It's right here, look for: 6. Under certain circumstances, you may receive service credit for unscheduled downtime. http://secondlife.com/corporate/billing.php
It's also important to clarify that L$ is not the same as money, and that such refunds would not be done in L$. The difference is explained in that same document, under the heading: 1.4 Second Life "currency" is a limited license right available for purchase or free distribution at Linden Lab's discretion, and is not redeemable for monetary value from Linden Lab.
Hope this helps; thanx for your suggestion.
