Don't worry i'm not nitpicking ;p much hehe. Anyway heres something i've notice in all the changelogs i've read since i started SL. Not every change is listed, and their not creative in wording. A lot of changes never get listed such as features that were removed from SL or minor changes. When the residents discover some of these things it tends to cause a panic. My favorit feature is gone? waaaa... Hehe well i think it might be best to include notes on every piece of code that gets changed. I have noticed when new features or new updates come along, a lot of old stuff gets broken like the search tool recently. That wasn't listed in the changes. I know it probably looks bad to list things like that, but it would let people know what your currently working on. Example Joke Update 1.999b --- *added a new feature to allow your avatar to itch themselves at random. *broken the ability to fly because you cant itch and fly at the same time aparently. *removed the ability to camp. Sorry guys but camping and itching. That invites too many problems.

Yiffy, it certainly sounds comprehensive: something along the same lines is a changelog with expandable/collapsible functionality, which means the basic (and most meaningful to most Residents) feature additions and bug fixes would be visible by default, but then, you could show further if you're interested in deep technical details. Understandably, at present, not *all* changes are shown because some are internal-only, related to exploits and such. I'm not sure you'd want to precisely know if I added an extra "o" to correct a typo in this-and-that XML string (in the past, some changes which involve a pile of tiny bits have been worded generally).
In the future, however, we've got some ideas on how we might better communicate the small things that make a big difference to some without overwhelming most people with "too much stuff".
