Early this morning at about 1am, I took my AO off and put it on the ground to add an animation i just bought to it. when i picked it up, it never showed up in my inventory. I now know this was due to the asset cluster crash, but my AO still has not returned.

I contacted live help and was told to file a bug report.

I had over 15 animations loaded into it, each costing somewhere between $50 - $175. It also took a long time to shop for and find each animation and load them, so this is a real drag... but it is also a loss of a grup of objects worth around $1,000.

I'm sure other people lost things in this crash. What is the likelihood that they will be recovered?

I'm sorry to hear this happened, Frank. :( Content loss is really regrettable--I've gone through it myself with some of my own SL possessions. The odds of recovery when such a thing happens isn't good, but if you've already taken all the necessary steps--and it sounds like you have--that's where community comes in: you can get in touch with the creators of those animations and share your story. There's a lot of kindness here and hopefully you can get them back.
