If I stand, alone, in a quiet location, my CPU remains maxed out at 100%. If I stay there for another 15 minutes is stays at 100%. If stay until the system has logged me out, and all I can do is read the chat history, it is still at 100%.
What is it doing? It strikes me that this must be a design flaw. It's as though it's in a really tight poll loop.
I'd be intersted to know if the Lindens see this as a bug, and if they are intending to address it.
