An attachment problem.

Since I have no way of posting in a general forum where people could tell me whether they are having the same problem or if it is only me, I have to ask here. I have bug reported the problem but as my business in SL (which provides me with RL income as you've so nicely advertised is one of SL's wonderful possibilities) is pretty much dead as long as this problem exists, I really do need to know how long it is going to last, whether it is just a problem I am having, whether it's something you're working on, etc.

When I need to attach an object from my inventory to my avatar, if I just click "wear" and let it attach to either my hand or it's last arranged attachment point, everything works fine. However if I need to take an item from my inventory and try to select "Attach to" to choose an attachment point, nothing happens. The object does not attach.

Now my business in SL involves creating attachments such as skirts, capes, etc. Every day, I create more attachments, I make custom attachments and I need to be able to use the "Attach to" feature. I currently have custom orders lined up that I cannot work on.

So, is this a bug? Are you already aware of it? Is there some time frame on when it will be fixed? In other words, when can I get back to work please?
