Hi Torley, ty for answering my post, I'm sorry to hear about your hand and the pain you endure typing.
My post was dragged with a few more but I didn't really feel I got any answers, you send us to a blog space, still don't find any connection with my questions, then to 3 Karen Linden posts in the forum, still no answers. Then a subscription to an e mail listing... still no answers! And finishes telling us lag has a different meaning for each resident. Still no answers.
My questions were concrete Torley, and if I may I'll ask again here.
1.- Why not stop upgrading until known issues are solved? 2.- Why don't you stop giving us things we don't ask for (like the inventory tab or payment method) and begin working in complaints such as poor performance in the grid, specially AFTER one of your upgrades on wednesdays? 3.-What's the use of making public our paying method? It's not as if we had credit inworld, everything is prepaid and lindens from a free account are as good as lindens from a premium account. 4.- When will you get involved in the "terrorism" issue growing each day in sl? I hate being bombed and seeing nothing being done. 5.- Why not make a rule to survey when introducing new things in sl? Please take our feeling and opinions in consideration.
Thank you again.

1.- Why not stop upgrading until known issues are solved? - Each 'upgrade' resolves known issues. Some known issues aren't public for various reasons (as outlined in the known issues page). While some developers are working on smaller bug fixes, some are working on larger scale (often behind the scenes) system changes to address other bugs, and yet other developers are working on new features - often as a direct result of known issues. The answer to your question is: The upgrades ARE resolving known issues. Not all of them at once of course, but we do strive to address them.
2.- Why don't you stop giving us things we don't ask for (like the inventory tab or payment method) and begin working in complaints such as poor performance in the grid, specially AFTER one of your upgrades on wednesdays? - While YOU may not have asked for the inventory tab, better inventory management has been a long requested feature or fix from our residents. I'm not sure what 'payment method' refers to.
The upgrade yesterday included a new configuration for our login servers. The goal of this was improve stability and scalability and make logins better. However, no testing quite equals thousands of people trying to connect at once. Except thousand of people trying to connect at once of course. There was indeed some pain while a couple of kinks were worked out.
3.-What's the use of making public our paying method? It's not as if we had credit inworld, everything is prepaid and lindens from a free account are as good as lindens from a premium account. - There seems to be a strong desire to be able to distinguish 'verified' accounts from 'unverified' that has stemmed from the recent change to no required ID for registration. In an effort to be as transparent as possible we have done a couple things. First we realize that even if we have payment information, even if that payment has been used, we havn't "verified" the identity of the person. We decided that the best approach was full transparency on this, hence the labeling. We tell you exactly what level of verification we have on the account - if they have given us billing information, and if we have successfully billed to that information. The first was all that was required to register with Second Life previously.
4.- When will you get involved in the "terrorism" issue growing each day in sl? I hate being bombed and seeing nothing being done. - There are abuse report tools to report abuse. You can also contact in world liaisons and Live Help for assistance. We are also working on improving the 'anti-grief' tools for land owners, the adjusted ban limit heights are the first of many steps on this path.
5.- Why not make a rule to survey when introducing new things in sl? Please take our feeling and opinions in consideration. - There are many things that get considered when new 'things' are added to SL. Resident opinion is one of those things, but definitely not the only one. We want to grow so we must do some thing in behalf of residents we don't yet have. We must also keep in mind the future of SL, what is possible with the resources and time available and what of the many, many, many things residents want is most important. We DO take resident feelings and opinions into consideration, they are a primary factor in most cases. We will continue to try to improve our connection with residents, and polls may be one way to do it. Although, unless they are built into the client, I am not sure they would get the coverage needed. But adding that takes developer time from fixing known issues....
