Neualtenburg is a sim that is set up as a government. Recently an ex-government official has cause many problems. This person was barred from buying land in the sim, in essence refusing her the right to be a citizen.
My question is, will LL verify that none of her alts become a government official in the future. Or to assure she doesn't use several alts to control a whole branch of government?
I'm not asking that the identity of her alts be revealed, only that LL checks on it from time to time and verifies the government officials are not alts.

Ah, we don't have a reason to dig into history like that unless there's justifiable grounds that the alts are committing violations of the Community Standards. Similar to what applies on the forum from the Guidelines: Alternate Account Abuse: When an account is suspended from the SL Forums, alternate account misuse will cause an increase in suspension time for both accounts. For instance, if Jane SecondLifer is suspended from the forums for three days and comes back to the forums on the second day of her suspension as an alt and breaks the Community Standards again, both accounts will be suspended from the SL Forums for seven more days. Every effort will be made to take into consideration the general feeling of the forum, but Linden Lab has the final say.
This also applies inworld. *However*, with a private island, it's at the discretion of the Estate Owner, and Estate Managers--if applicable--to determine who can and cannot acquire land within their domain. This is not up to LL... we leave the control in the hands of the people, so to speak. Should you have specific concerns, I'd recommend personally talking to the estate's authorities.  |
