I note yet again people are offering their services free of charge in building road networks and suchlike, yet there is a cold reply of 'no help needed at this time'.

When people are volunteering to help Linden Lab, why are they being rejected when there's an obvious need for these things to be done?

Road Building = part 2

Just echoing Lewis thread about road building - I am more than willing to help out.

Why you may ask? My reasons are self serving. I own land next to a "future" road since May and would actually like to see a road. It would improve the look of the sim, the value of the land would increase and - wait for it - I might even get to drive on it. I got a great old motorcycle that needs some open roads, not bumpy terrain.

I realize that Linden Labs is very busy, so I am willing to help out. Give us a spec to build to and permission and tell us where - we will get it done. There some of us out here in SL who want to help in a postive manner. Please let us.

All the best!

I'm going to forward this to Guy Linden, our newly-appointed Land Guru, to get his insights on the matter.
